Prof. Fritz Eloff a previous Chairman of the National Parks Board has just completed his latest book about the Kalahari.

This book is about the Bushman of the Kalahari and is good reading and value for money.

Thank you Gerard , will look out for it . He was our Zoology prof way back in 1960/1961 , and the best lectures used to be when he came into the lecture hall , put down his briefcase , and I can still see his face when he then said :" Kom ons gesels liewer vandag oor die Kalahari ".
( Today , lets rather talk about the Kalahari ) . :D



And the Kalahari lion was another of his favourite subjects :whistle:

Prof Eloff never gave class.
He chatted and all remembered and understood what he was taking about.

When I was in primary school and that was a loooooong time ago we had an Afrikaans setwork "Skankwan van die duine". Don't know who the author was.

Skankwan van die Duine was authored by the brothers, GC and SB Hobson, I was also fascinated in reading the adventures of Skankwan - true Africana.
