We saw this leopard on 08.10.2013 just north of Geinab.

I am sorry about the poor quality of the pictures. The leopard was at least 200 metres into the riverbed and it was very hot.

AstroMatt thinks this could be a new leopard but he is not 100% sure. Any ideas?

gatida :yaya:

Asked Matthew what he thinks about the leopard being Rosa
as the whisker spots on the right hand side and the facial marks
underneath / next to the left eye seem to match.

He agreed with that ID. :thumbs_up:

@Lionspoon - :clap: :clap: :clap:
I must say I thought this was a new leopard, but after discussing this with AstroMatt(and he told me about your e-mail), I can see the spots on the right hand side match with Rosa. Well done, this was not an easy ID! :thumbs_up:

hi

just got back today.

I think we saw Motsumi on the 14th October mating. Will post photos in a couple of days.

Warona I think it was still with mother and very, very active. Do not want to spoil the story in case someone else on the forum saw the going's on but hectic. if they do not post anything I will post here and on my trip report.

lots of leopard but mostly in 2's.

Fantastic sighting kesheshe! :thumbs_up:
You are 100% correct about the identification of Motsumi....the female is our lovely lady Langklaas :)
Who by some strange twist of fate you saw mating at Nossob in 2011! :mrgreen:
Did you actually see them mate?
