Visited West Coast National Park last Sunday 25th August. It was a clear sunny day, warm and windy.
I have never seen the park as full as it was that day. Flowers were awesome and saw animals too.
See below.
Have a good weekend all.
Best wishes

Leaping Lizards, you were really spoilt with excellent and large carpets of flowers.
You have captured this beauty excellently.

Then you also have seen "a black wildebeest". WOW, that is also a great one!
On a previous occasion, we saw some Kudu, so the park is full of wild animals and surprises.

Thank you for sharing it with us.

It’s a pleasure.

If you have not been out yet, try not to miss it. WCNP is a wonderful day out from the bird hides on the lagoon to the waterholes, the lookout points and close encounters with rare species like Bontebok, Mountain Zebra and Eland (If you a Kruger person)

The 4 days in Kruger really highlighted the speeding problem for me in WCNP. In 4 days we saw 4 people speed in Kruger, and not one was being completely ridiculous, but in WC, we see that amount of people speeding in 15 minutes, every 15 minutes, with some almost doubling the limit. We have even seen a car sliding through corners in this park.
