Sheleph I suggest that you try the bidorbuy.co.za website.

Protea Boekhuis is also an option – they sell antique, collectible and Africana books.

Hi Sheleph,

Unfortunately I think you'll struggle to get a copy other than second hand as suggested by Grantmissy.

See here.........Kgalagadi Lions - Ousus

Hey everyone! I'm sorry to have to say this, but unless you already have an Ousus book, you will not find it in the KTP shops. There was only a limited number of prints and it seems that Oom Piet does not see the need to have more printed.

Unfortunately Oom Piet passed away earlier this year.

I have just received the following on Facebook!

Dear Friends , it is with deep regret that I have been informed of the tragic passing of the original founder of the Friends of the Kalahari group, Oom Piet Heymans. Oom Piet passed away yesterday morning following a long battle with cancer. He will be sorely missed but exciting things are happening with his legacy, the new Friends of the Kalahari that we started with Oom Piet's blessing. Let's ensure that his legacy lives on in a vibrant, enthusiastic group that actually makes a difference in the Kgalagadi as well as the local communities.
RIP Oom Piet - you will never be forgotten ...

(Oom Piet was the author of OUSUS of the Kalahari, about a lioness; story north of Kwang.)

For another space to look for second hand books go to abebooks(dot)com
perhaps you can find a copy of it there?

Exclusive Books couldn't help either SHELEPH! But since you are in Pretoria, why not go there yourself and order a book that you are looking for? They are very helpful and will always try their best to get books for people.
