Early rate increase for 2009 announced

The South African National Parks (SANParks) has announced that with effect from 01 September 2009 it will be implementing an annual rates increase, earlier than the usual increase date of 01 November. This is due to the rapidly increasing inflation rate, experienced over the past couple of months. For the full announcement, click here.


Booking Methods

Via the real-time, online booking system:

Book & Pay directly online. You can now complete your entire booking in a few relatively simple steps. After a once-off registration, you browse availability, build an itinerary and pay conservation and accommodation fees with your credit cards wherever you are.

    All booking requests are only accepted 11 months or less in advance.
    Bookings for the 11th month are opened on the 1st working day of each new month.

  • Payment made directly at your bank - Complete the deposit slip with the bank details below
  • Internet Banking - Create a beneficiary with the following bank details and do a transfer

Please ascertain from your nearest reservation office if booking is still active (not cancelled) and / or if deposit due date has to be extended for the following reasons:

If transfer is made from First National Bank on same day as deposit due date, allow at least 2 working days for the transaction to appear on our bank statement; If transfer is made from any other bank but First National Bank, allow at least 4 working days for the transaction to appear on our bank statement.

The number for which payment is made MUST appear on the deposit slip or as reference on your internet banking form.


The following is of utmost importance:

Fax a copy of the transaction to +27 (0)12 343 0905 or +27 (0)12 426 5500 to ensure that payment can be identified on our bank statement. Without the payment slip, payment cannot be linked with the entry on our bank statement. Please provide your telephone number on the fax in case of discrepancies.
