BIG FIVE Sightings

June 2007

These sightings are a subset of the daily ranger patrol information collected using the CyberTracker (CT) System. This system was developed for application in conservation by Louis Liebenberg, as a user-friendly interface developed for PDA's. The system allows literate as well as non-literate field workers to record customised observations with latitude and longitude co-ordinates. If you would like to read more about the Kruger National Park's CyberTracker Program please visit the GIS Lab or if you would like to make a donation to the program, please visit our Support Page.
