I drove past the spot yesterday where this happened. There is still glass off the side of the road and the area is pretty trampled by other cars, ambulances etc. It is a straight stretch of road with very little vegetation for an Ellie to hide in. There are NO tyre skid marks. I think that speculation about speeding may be a little premature. I think that a lack of understanding by the occupants of the dangers wildlife can present might go a way to understanding the incident.

Is it possible to get there at permitted speed from camp in half an hour Grasha?

Apologies - If it was 6.30am I did not know that. I do know it is about 30kms from Punda.

Thanks  One wonders how accurate the 6h30 was as well.
